She is the co-author of the BRIEF-P®, a standardized rating scale to measure the behavioral manifestations of preschool regulatory skills. She is the author of numerous publications in neuroscience, developmental, pediatric, and child psychiatry journals. In 2001, Espy received the Rita G. Dr. Kaufmann maintains active scholarship in research, publication, and consultation on legal problems confronting neuropsychologists. He has published numerous book chapters, peer-reviewed scientific research articles, and legal commentaries, most recently addressing the use of neuropsychological evidence in court and the scope of neuropsychologist expertise.
